Day 9

Today I am grateful for the scriptures. Right now I am reading D&C and I love it, it's so interesting. I never thought I would be able to say that about reading scriptures but I really look forward to it daily. It all started out when things were going south with my roommates and it seemed like everything else was going in the same direction. I told Grant all about it and he told me I needed to work on praying and reading the scriptures more frequently, not the answer I wanted to hear but I did it anyway. I have honestly noticed a huge difference in my day when I pray and read my scriptures and make it a priority in my life. I am so grateful for this amazing blessing!

Day 8

Today I am grateful for my amazing roommates. I love both of them and we always have a good time. We have officially lived in our apartment for a week and we have already broke the oven, made the neighbor mad, and stayed up until 1 am watching One Tree Hill! This is going to be a fun year. Alaina is going on to Utah State in the fall but Karrie and I have a whole year or more left. I am so excited for what is to come and I feel very blessed to have such amazing girls to share an apartment with!

Day 7

Today I am very grateful for the Stevenson's! They are such a great family and I am glad that I have had the opportunity to get to know them so well while Grant has been gone. They are like my second family and I know if I ever needed anything they would be here for me just like my own family. I am especially grateful for Grant's mom. She and I have gotten very close and it's fun to have someone to talk to and another mom's opinion.

Day 6

Today I am grateful for the opportunity that I had to vote. Even though things didn't go the way that I wanted to I used the opportunity to vote and voice my opinion!

Day 5

Today I am grateful for the internet! I have lived her in the new apartment for an entire week with no internet access.....doesn't seem like such a big deal until you realize a good portion of my classes have to be done online! So today I am so grateful that my roommates and I went and got a router....and bigger bonus I have wifi now so no more stupid internet cord like at the old apartment! 

Day 4

Today I am grateful for the BLESSING I had of moving to a new apartment! I won't lie I was having an awful time at my old apartment and there were definitely some personality conflicts. I was not part of the fighting but coming home to all of the stress and tension is not what I was looking for in my college experience. Luckily I moved in with two great girls we get along great and we are having a blast at our new place. I will post some pictures when everything gets all settled in but just know this....I am definitely a lot happier now!

A little behind...

Well Monday was the big day....surgery day round 2!!! One surgery was enough but two almost put me over the edge. I wish he didn't have to deal with these sort of things when he is working so hard, but I know that he can overcome this and it's just one of those things you have to deal with. But good new is that the surgery went GREAT! Everything went smoothly, he is a little sore, but can't blame him for that one. I am just happy that he is okay and getting better. He is really excited for this transfer, lately he has had companions that are on their last transfer and ready to go home and they aren't as productive as he would like. I'm sure he will be the same way when it comes time to go home but I am excited that he has a companion who is willing to work as hard as Grant does and hopefully they will have some success this transfer.
